Shinsun Seolnongtang Myeongdong Store

Still delicious, just like the must-eat food from when I first visited Seoul 20 years ago. It's just a shame they only stay open until 9:00 now, so if you come too late, you might miss out.

It feels easy to get in at any time!

I have to eat at Sinseon Seolleongtang every time I come to Seoul. It's conveniently located on the 2nd floor near Myeong-dong. However, I went at 8 AM and waited for quite a while, so I suggest avoiding peak meal times. Personally, the original Seolleongtang is a bit bland for my taste, so I almost always order the garlic version, along with some dumplings. My favorite part is definitely their kimchi—it's absolutely delicious.

I thought it had closed during the pandemic, so I'm glad it's back. The seolleongtang with ginseng is perfect for a hangover.
